Course Validity & Renewal Information

Validity

After registration and payment, students can begin working on courses immediately. The courses are valid and available for student access for a period of six (6) months. The time of expiration is midnight on the day of expiration.

Extensions

If after six months, students still have some courses to complete, students can extend each course individually for a fee as listed below. Courses cannot be extended past 12 months.

Students must notify Texas State Online by phone or email to purchase a course extension.

Final Expiration Date

Courses cannot be extended past 12 months (1 year). After 12 months all work for an incomplete course will be lost.

Definition of Course Completion

Students must successfully complete the course lessons and any associated examinations for the course prior to the course expiration date. This includes the final course exam.
