Steps for Getting a Texas Real Estate License
After completing the mandatory TREC education requirements, attach a copy of the certificates of completion to your application and send it in to TREC along with the application fee.
TREC will process your application. After processing the application, TREC will send you number to use to download the fingerprinting form. Then you take the form to an approved fingerprinting facility and get fingerprinted.
TREC will also send you a notice with instructions for registering for the State licensing exam.
